Fine Artist, Tibor Simon-Mazula selected by Sundance Cinemas via StudioVox for Gallery Exhibition

SAN FRANCISCO - May 15, 2015 - PRLog -- Fine Art Painter Tibor Simon-Mazula was selected by Sundance Cinemas Gallery of Robert Redford's Sundance Group for an exclusive exhibition at their Sundance Cinema Kabuki Gallery in San Francisco, CA.  The artist’s work was chosen from a group of local artists who submitted their work for consideration to Sundance via an exclusive partnership with StudioVox.

Tibor Simon-Mazula’s exhibition entitled “Moments” runs from May 10th through August 2015.  Light and shadow play an integral role in his work which features a restrained palette and distinctive textures creating intimate scenes of abstracted figures devoid of detail but creating highly emotive stories filled with mood and interlude.

The artist often chooses to paint the world from above arranging compositions so his subjects are viewed as though seeing them through a secret window, offering the viewer an intimate perspective into their story. He believes that abstracting the figure breaks down visual boundaries and allows viewers to understand themselves through the figure in the painting.

Sundance Cinemas VP of Marketing and Gallery Curator, Nancy Gribler was immediately drawn to Tibor’s work, “Tibor’s paintings are at once evocative, sad and yet anticipatory.
