The Kitchen opens up to gastro-savvy public

Kempinski Hotel Corvinus Budapest has launched its new facility The Kitchen in the foyer on the events level of the hotel as part of its Meetings & Incentives programme.

BUDAPEST, Hungary - May 15, 2015 - PRLog -- Complete with a state-of-the-art, fully operational stove and countertop, as well as interactive engagement with Kempinski Corvinus’ master chefs, The Kitchen - http://www.kempinski.com/en/budapest/hotel-corvinus/meetings/special-events/the-kitchen/ offers exclusive and dedicated space to create and experience a 21st-century gastronomic lifestyle in a functionally refurbished and tastefully decorated dining and lounge area. It is conveniently private, benefitting from the natural light that the glass rooftop affords and showcasing views of Fashion Street. It is ideal for personalised, culinary-themed events.

The Kitchen can accommodate private show-kitchen parties, complete with a master chef who prepares and presents seasonal or bespoke menus in the company of party guests in an entertaining and informative environment. Cookery master classes are designed to specifically hone culinary skills in themed ways, such as Bubble Burger, Chef's Table, A Healthy Way of Life, Perfect Party Food as Easy as It Can Be, Bistro Cuisine, Arab Cuisine, Russian Cuisine, Breakfast Secrets and Wines in The Kitchen.

The Kitchen is also ideal as a pre-dinner location for over 40 guests with the ballroom serving as the dinner venue. Other functions include the pop-up kitchen and mini-kitchen, specifically designed to accommodate children’s parties.

“Kempinski Corvinus has always been at the forefront of the hotel industry and experience-focused event management,” said Stephan Interthal, general manager of the hotel. “The Kitchen fits perfectly with our Gastronomic Quarter Downtown Budapest, which brought a vanguard culinary concept to our portfolio, as well as in Budapest’s booming gastro scene. It allows us to introduce Kempinski Corvinus’ signature professional cuisine preparation to the gastro-savvy public by engaging our master chefs and individuals in an easy-going and informal setting. It’s best to learn from the best! The Kitchen, I believe, will be another popular element in Gastronomic Quarter Downtown Budapest for the benefit of the gourmet public.”
