SHRM India recognizes Top 25 Social Media HR influencers

• Unveils a report on key Indian HR influencers on Digital platform • Industry stalwarts like Gautam Ghosh, Tanmoy Vora and Abhijit Bhaduri are among the top 25 influencers
 
May 15, 2015 - PRLog -- New Delhi, 14thMay 2015: SHRM, Society for Human Resource Management, the world’s largest association devoted to human resource management, has unveiled a report on “Top 25 Indian HR Influencers on Social Media” third time in a row. Instead of 20 influencers like in previous reports, this year the report named top 25 HR professional contributing actively on social media space. Partnered with social wavelength and Radian 6 Team, SHRM India researched around 200 shortlisted HR professionals and indentified top 25 India HR influencers based on the analyses parameters.

Out of identified 25 professionals, the top 5 Indian HR influencers are Gautam Ghosh, Director – Talent Branding, Flipkart, Nabomita Mazumdar, Partner, Cite Community, Tanmay Vora, Director, Basware, Sunder Ramchandran, Head – Sales Training, Pfizer and Gurprriet Siingh, Country Head, YSC India. Mr. Vineet Nayar, CEO, HCL Technologies and  Abhijit Bhaduri, Chief Learning Officer, Wipro Group and Dr. N S Rajan, Group CHRO, Tata Sons are also named among the top 25 HR influencers.

While unveiling the report Achal Khanna, CEO, SHRM India Operations said, “In today’s age, digital platform has become a key source for people to share information and experiences through various social media sites. It has also become an important tool for HR fraternity to generate conversations around various HR practices such as leadership, talent acquisition, employee communication, training and recognition etc. The objective behind this report is to admire and recognize the contribution of most effective and best HR professionals across industry segments who have made a reputation on various social media sites like Twitter, LinkedIn, Blogs, Quora and Klout. We are hopeful that these influencers will continue to share their wisdom and knowledge through these social networking channels taking the digital HR conversations ahead.”

The key factors taken in to consideration were ‘follower count and engaging with audiences through multiple social mediums’. Unlike the previous report, the 2014-15 report went beyond twitter and analyzed influencers activities on other digital platforms like LinkedIn, Blogs, Quora and Klout too. Specific aspects of each platform were carefully studied and weightage were allocated accordingly Twitter (60%); LinkedIn (10%); Blogs (10%); Quora (10%); Klout (10%).
