Film Dying Alone Will Impact Millions of Women and Their Families, Says Noted Cancer Doctor

NEW YORK - May 15, 2015 - PRLog -- David Zucker Productions has announced that his company’s production of “Dying Alone,” a love story that is also a cautionary reminder for all women to join the war on breast cancer, has received major plaudits from noted cancer specialist Dr. Ernie Bodai.  Zucker has also announced that all proceeds from the film will be donated to the Cure Breast Cancer Organization.

“Dying Alone,” written by Ken Cameron and David S Zucker and which stars Nataliya Prieto and Danny Pardo, depicts how the dreams of a child can reflect the delicate balance of life and the importance of working the odds to favor cancer survival and achieve happiness.

In his letter to Zucker, Dr. Bodai calls the film’s script a “truly an impressive work. . . you touch on fear, denial, anger, self-blame and compassion – all of which are extremely important components in dealing with this disease . . . The global burden of breast cancer in 2015 will bear the fact that 1.6 million will receive a diagnosis of breast cancer, and unfortunately 450,000 will die . . . In light of these statistics I feel your manuscript would have a tremendous impact on untold members of women and their families. The script would serve as an extremely powerful educational tool for ALL women to be vigilant and proactive in the awareness of this dreaded disease . . . Your efforts in this regard are unparalleled.”

Recently, members of Congress have introduced bipartisan legislation to award Dr. Ernie Bodai a Congressional Gold Medal, also noting that Dr. Bodai, who has been on the “front lines in the war against cancer,” also created the “Breast Cancer Research Postage Stamp.”  Zucker also states that he takes enormous pride in announcing that Dr. Bodai has accepted his invitation to be “Medical Supervisor” for “Dying Alone.”

Among Zucker’s other announcements pertaining to “Dying Alone” -- The movie is being filmed on 35 MM Kodak film, and renowned Cinelab of London will be developing the film.  Additionally, the music for the film will be written by Jessie Bridges.
