Author Ellen Urbani (Landfall) Speaks about Creating a Book Launch to Willamette Writers
 
PORTLAND, Ore. - May 12, 2015 - PRLog -- On Tuesday, June 2nd, at the Old Church in downtown Portland, Willamette Writers welcomes Portland author Ellen Urbani, who will talk with the membership about preparing your book for its coming out.

Ms. Urbani is the author of Landfall, a work of historical fiction set in the wake of Hurricane Katrina, and the memoir When I Was Elena (The Permanent Press, 2006), a Book Sense Notable selection documenting her life in Guatemala during the final years of that country’s civil war.

Doors open at 6:30 and the meeting starts at 7.  The Old Church is at 1422 SW 11th. Attendance is free to members of Willamette Writers and full time students under 25; non-members pay $10.
