Kabaka Pyramid, King of Universal Laws & the Bebble Rockers will be at The Underground Saturday, May 16th for their first live performance in Canada.
 
HAMILTON, Ontario - May 12, 2015 - PRLog -- The City of Hamilton will welcome Jamaican born Kabaka Pyramid  and his band the Bebble Rockers on May 16th to perform at The Underground, 41 St. Catherine Street, Hamilton. Show time: 10pm. The show will also feature local Canadian artists and the multi-award winner, King Ujah from Toronto.

Proudly presented by African Star and Courtney Black resident DJ of Rootz Reggae Radio. Hosted by DJ Cool from Sound FM 103 and Marica A Tulloch from 93.3 Hamilton's CFMU. Music provided by your hometown crew Pentium Sound.

King Ujah


Beginning in 2004 with the release of his debut album 'Beauty for Ashes,' and in 2009 with the release of his Sophomore album 'Glorify The King,' King Ujah has maintained his commitment to uplifting listeners with messages of love, unity, and cultural awarenes.

King Ujah has performed at major Festivals including "Reggae Sumfest", Toronto's prestigious Jamaica Day Festival, the Irie Festival in Toronto, the Links Pic-Nic Festival in Kitchener, Waterloo, the Calgary Reggae Festival and the Ottawa Reggae Festival.

Adding to his already heavy radio rotation for singles "Hustla / For My Homies," "Crazy," "Sugar," and "Praises To My King", King Ujah has released a series of singles in 2010 which are in advance of his much anticipated 3rd studio album which is yet to be titled.

The video for "Granny" was shot entirely on location in Jamaica, and is receiving impressive airplay on Jamaica's top television stations, as well as spins on top radio stations including Irie FM, Radio Jamaica, Mello FM and HOT 102 FM.

Keron "Kabaka Pyramid" Salmon is a multi-talented artist and producer coming straight from the streets of Kingston, Jamaica with a unique musical style blending the lyricism of Hip hop, with the energy and melody of Reggae and Dancehall.

Busy in the streets Pyramid has been appearing on the Live Music scene in Kingston with live performances at the Manifesto Jamaica Festival 2010, Jaria Reggae Month 2010, Jamaica Vybez, The Next Generation of Reggae, Bands Incorporated (Featured by The Indiggnation Band), and Conversations at Wickie Wackie - just to name a few.

As a Producer Kabaka Pyramid saw chart success in the Bahamas soaring to number 3 in the country with the 2009 release of "Dead Man Walking" by Bahamian artist Jah Doctrine and Bebble Rock label mate Massyka.

This project is a fusion of roots rock, reggae, dancehall and hip hop and is intended to show the world where Kabaka Pyramid is looking to take Jamaican music, as well as spread the positive messages of spirituality and conscious evolution that you find whenever he grabs a mic.
