Cincy Chic Hosts Free Women’s Health Expo May 16

CINCINNATI - May 11, 2015 - PRLog -- In celebration of National Women's Health Week, Cincy Chic hosts its fourth-annual Women’s Health Expo at The Phoenix downtown Saturday May 16 from 10am-2pm.

The free event offers attendees health-enhancing seminars with local physicians, swag bags, healthy treats, health screenings, shopping at various pop-up boutiques, and learning about local health experts and services. Plus, one lucky attendee will win a $500 spa and jewelry prize pack!

“From our bones and breasts, to our hearts and reproductive system, women have their very own set of health needs,” says St. Elizabeth Health Care Marketing Manager Theresa Taylor. “Events like this allow our medical experts who specialize in some of these areas to speak to women on the importance of good health and taking care of yourself.”

Physician seminars include the 11am session with Thomas P. Carrigan, MD, Electrophysiologist, St. Elizabeth Heart & Vascular Institute, who will speak about “What Women Need to Know About Irregular Heartbeats”; then at 12:30pm, St. Elizabeth’s Kiran Bhatia, MD will speak about “Taking Care of You: A guide to stress management, proper nutrition & important screenings.”
