Recipients of the 2015 scholarships are: LitWorks™, a DTI Company: · Full scholarships in 2015 to attend the Certified Litigation Support Professional program – a five-day, instructor led course: o Crystal Kilborn o J. Clay Smith o Ryan Ogren o Josh Aldrich o Carol O’Connell · Full scholarships in 2015 to attend the Certified Litigation Support Project Manager program – a three-day, instructor led course: o Christine Stansall o Grady Glover o Jannie Chang Georgetown University Paralegal Studies Program: · Full scholarship to attend the 2015 Advanced Litigation & Trial Technology course – a 32-hour, instructor led course: o Angela Masciulli Full scholarship to attend the 2015 e-Discovery course – a 32-hour, instructor led course: Andres Crosetto Full scholarship to attend the 2015 Legal Project Management course – a 42-hour, instructor led course: Tiffany Johnson ACEDS: Full scholarships for 2015 Certification Packages – training offered online with in-person exam; includes live training, study manual, ACEDS membership, and certification exam with one free retake: o Tim Thames o Janet Bryan o Ian Deitz o Jose Talancha o Susan James Suffolk-Flaherty Legal Tech Audit (LTA): 50 semifinalists have been awarded free access to take the professional edition of the LTA, the industry standard for evaluating how well timekeepers and staff use essential law practice technologies, such as Microsoft Word and Excel. The professional edition of the LTA is administered and managed by Cost Control, LLC. “This is the fourth year we have proudly offered educational and career leveraging scholarships to the legal technology community,” stated Jared Coseglia, founder and president of TRU Staffing Partners. “We had a record-breaking amount of applicants this year, all of whom contributed thoughtful, passionate, and professional considerations.
