Talent Board Wins HRO Today Thought Leadership Award

SAN FRANCISCO - May 11, 2015 - PRLog -- Talent Board (http://www.thetalentboard.org/), a non-profit organization focused on the elevation and promotion of a quality candidate experience, today announced that it has been recognized as the HRO Today Services and Technology Association 2015 Award winner for Strategic HR Thought Leadership (http://www.hrotoday.com/association/awards/) in North America.

For the past several years, the highly regarded HRO Today Awards have been an aspiration for those in the HR industry. The North American award winners were announced and celebrated at the prestigious HRO Today Awards Gala (http://www.hrotodayforum.com/index.php/hro-today-chro-awards-dinner/) on Monday, May 4, 2015 in Philadelphia. The theme for this year’s event was “Be Inspired! – Recognizing Excellence in HR.”

“Through the Candidate Experience (CandE) Awards program, Talent Board continues to influence and impact recruiting and talent acquisition practices the world over,” commented Lynn David Knight, president of Talent Function. “As the program grows, Talent Board remains dedicated to improving the candidate experience for job seekers as well as employers and recruiting practitioners. Recognizing a shift in the candidate experience and its impact on both workforces and employers Talent Board launched the CandE Awards in 2011. Under the guidance of chairman and co-founder Elaine Orler, the CandE Awards continue to expand, growing from a North American program to include the U.K. and several countries in the EMEA region. The largest program of its kind, the 2014 CandE Awards collected data from 150 participating companies and more than 95,000 job candidates. In addition to the awards and benchmarking program, Talent Board is also hosting a series of Candidate Experience 101 workshops across North America. These events feature insights from industry insiders and previous CandE Award winners and are open to talent acquisition and recruiting professionals. The Second Annual Candidate Experience Symposium is slated for early fall in the Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas area. The Symposium is set to include keynote presentations, informative panels, roundtable discussions and the North American CandE Awards ceremony and reception.
