JSA @ Mothers Day Classic 2015

 
May 11, 2015 - PRLog -- Job Support Australia leant a set of joggers and goodwill for the Mothers Day Classic to help the National Breast Cancer Foundation fund their research projects aimed at improving the detection, treatment and outcomes for those who are affected by breast cancer.

One of JSA’s own joined the 130,000 participants this Mother’s Day Classic to not only raise awareness and honour those impacted by the disease, but also to raise funds for vital research into treatment, detection and prevention.

Across Australia, families, friends, colleagues, schoolmates, and corporate teams got into the spirit of the day with several sporting fancy dress and an abundance of pink.

Job Support Australia’s Harrison Checkley joined in on the 4km run and celebrated the festival atmosphere as an opportunity to celebrate the life of survivors and enjoy a fun and healthy morning on Mother’s Day.

“I’ve experienced first-hand the effects cancer can have on a family, and makes me proud to see the sense of solidarity that our group of friends have when we band together to support one.”

Job Support Australia’s $3000.00 donation will help aide detection, support research into the prevention and treatment of breast cancer.

The National Breast Cancer Foundation, a not-for-profit organisation that promotes and supports research into the prevention and treatment of breast cancer.
