Award Winning Author's Links With Recovery of Nazi Looted Art

AUCKLAND, New Zealand - May 10, 2015 - PRLog -- For the second year in a row, SL Beaumont’s The Carlswick Mysteries series has been awarded an Honorable Mention at the prestigious San Francisco Book Festival. The latest outing, The Carlswick Treasure strikes parallels with recent real life discoveries of long-lost art treasures.

“The discovery of art stolen by the Nazis lies at the heart of the novel,” Beaumont said. “The news over the last year or so that looted pieces by artists such as Picasso, Matisse and Chagall have been rediscovered in Munich, the recent announcement that Dutch museums have identified paintings in their collections thought to have been looted during the Nazi era and the success of Helen Mirren’s new movie ‘Woman in Gold’, mean that this novel is a timely and entertaining reminder of this period in our history.”

The Carlswick Treasure is a contemporary romantic suspense novel.  Old enemies, betrayal and danger - only this time, the stakes are higher.

The Carlswick Treasure is available from www. amazon.com and selected independent book stores.
