CETUSA Seeking Host Families in Farmington, Central, North County, Bismarck, Potosi, and West County

Council for Educational Travel, USA Seeking Host Families in Missouri areas for 2015-2016 School Year

FARMINGTON, Mo. - May 8, 2015 - PRLog -- Council for Educational Travel, USA (CETUSA) is seeking host familiesin Farmington, Central, North County, Bismarck, Potosi, and West County areas to open doors to their homes, their communities, and their hearts for international high school exchange students.  Exchange students from Europe, South America, and Asia are being placed in volunteer host families for a semester or an academic year. Join the CETUSA family and step out into world like Farmington resident, host Mom and CETUSA coordinator Keila Files:

“I became a Coordinator in the local area because of my own family’s love for exchange students.  Our family worked together to pick out our first student many years ago.  Today, we are hosting our ninth student!  Our children are proud to say that they have brothers and sisters from all over the world.  They have learned to embrace diversity and have a greater understanding of the world around them.  Learning about other cultures has brought such joy to our family.  I have a love for helping other host families choose students and be able to enjoy the same experience!”

CETUSA exchange students carry their own health insurance and bring their own spending money.  Mrs. Files makes the arrangements for their high school acceptance and will provide ongoing support to the students and the families throughout their program.  The students hope to be treated as one of the household and want to live the life “of a typical American teenager”.  The host families are asked to provide a bed in either a shared or private bedroom, a place for the student to study, three meals a day, and a welcoming home environment.  This is a great opportunity to share what you love about your community and the United States while also learning about a new culture and a new person.

Begin the journey by emailing Keila at Fileskeila@yahoo.com or highschool@cetusa.org, calling 888-238-8721, or by visiting our website http://www.cetusa.org.  CETUSA works with families with children, couples, empty nesters, or single households.  Open your heart and your home to begin your international adventure today!
