Follow on Google News | South Shore Chamber of Commerce to host program on violence in the workplaceThe paneled discussion program will focus on what employers need to know.
By: South Shore Chamber of Commerce Slated from 8 to 9:30 a.m. the panel discussion program will address numerous aspects, including internal policies to keep employees safe; an overview of new laws relating to employers and victims of domestic violence; the impact of mental health issues in the workplace; the value of workplace violence training; and how psychological first aid and posttraumatic stress management can facilitate the healing process. The professional panel will include: · Jennifer Bolton, Outreach & Education Manager with DOVE (Domestic Violence Ended) · Phil Quinn, Chief Psychologist and Director of EAP Services, South Shore Mental Health · Chris Turner, Regional Director of Training and Development with Securitas Admission is $25 for South Shore Chamber and affiliate members and $50 for the general public.
