Announcing the Configurator Tool - Allowing Homeowners To Visualise Their Kitchen Colours And Style

DARTFORD, U.K. - May 8, 2015 - PRLog -- LONDON, England: 8 May 2015: – Home owners will now be able to see how their new German kitchen could look with colour and texture variations across the worktops, islands and cabinet surfaces before they make a decision of visiting a kitchen showroom or even measure up their room, with the announcement of the configurator tool from Alaris Kitchens.

This interactive tool is driven by the home owner when they visit the company's website. There are 26 variations of colour or texture for the high cupboards, 24 variations for the island sides and a further 22 choices for the worktops. The configurator allows the user any combination from these three choices, applying the results immediately to an image of a stylised kitchen. The choices are all from the Pronorm range of colour and materials, offered by Alaris as part of its range of quality kitchens sold directly to the public.

The configurator is an initial stage of Alaris' kitchen design service so customers can 'try before they buy'; understanding the choices available, but who have not yet worked with a kitchen designer on the layout or dimensions of their own rooms.

We can take this information and present a customer with their choices applied to their own space – complete with appliances, lighting and furniture – in a personalised 3D rendered image created by our kitchen designers."

The tool is accessed via the Pronorm Kitchens page on Alaris' kitchen showroom support website: http://www.arena-kitchens.co.uk/pronorm-kitchens.htm with a link to the tool that opens a new window or tab in the browser. The configurator is based on Adobe Flash and will work with any modern Apple Mac, PC, or Linux based web browser. A smart phone and tablet version is under development at the moment.
