Chicagoland HIV Testing Collaborative & Harmony Health Plan Unite for June 2015 STEPUPGETTESTED

CHICAGO - May 8, 2015 - PRLog -- The scope of the 2015 StepUpGetTested Chicago campaign in recognition of the annual National HIV Testing Day month is  being significantly enhanced by new partnership with Harmony health plan
of Illinois, a subsidiary of WellCare Health Plans, Inc., "Harmony is very excited to partner with StepUp.GetTested. and AIDS Foundation of Chicago in June to heighten awareness around National HIV Testing Day," said Dr. Robert Hilliard Jr. , president of Harmony Health Plan of Illinois. "The campaign will encourage everyone between the ages of 13-64 to get tested for HIV as part of their routine health care.   The events in June will include:

-Launch June 5 condom distribution and HIV and Hepititis-C screens near CTA "L" stations (10am-4pm)

-June 7, Soul Music Festival in the Park on Chicago's southside Near Burnham Park

-June 12, 19, 26 Mobile testing across Chicago land, near CTA "L: stops, Wilson Redline, Pulaski & Lake and 47th King Drive

-FREE Skating for 13-24 year olds at Markham Roller Rink on June 13, 4:30-7:30 and The Rink on East 87th Street in Chicago on June 27,  7:30-10:30PM

-Pride at Montrose Festival during Chicago Pride Parade on June 28
