COLUMBUS, Ohio - May 8, 2015 - PRLog -- In what can only be called a scathing attack on Stephen Hawking, Marshall Barnes marks the second anniversary of Hawking boycotting the 2013 Israeli President's event by announcing that he covers the controversary as part of his book on Hawking that he calls, "the first ever book to take a critical look at his work".

"Look," he begins with a hint of anger and frustartion, "I knew immediately that Hawking was wrong in engaging in the boycott and here's the deal - I said he was wrong not over what his politics are but because boycotting was wrong because he was blowing a perfect opportunity to speak out at a time when a new dialog is needed. I said that his joining the boycott proved that he isn't the world genius that the world has been conned into believing he is (see http://www.prlog.org/12164968-marshall-barnes-takes-sides-against-hawking-on-israeli-tomorrow-conference-boycottreceives-thanks.html ) and then a year later I was proved exactly right - no one was even thinking about his joining the boycott. It was a total, complete, 100% failure. That proved conclusively that his genius is a myth.".

Many in the media proclaimed that Hawking joining the boycott would be a great victory for the Pro-Palestinian movement. The Guardian proclaimed in one headline, Stephen Hawking's Boycott Hits Israel Where It Hurts: Science. But as Marshall predicted, the world forgot about it a year later and to the day of the first anniversary of Hawking's action, Hamas had harassed Israel to the point that Gaza was getting shelled (see http://www.prlog.org/12320531-marshall-barnes-issues-stat... ).

Marshall points out that Hawking allowed Noam Chomsky to make a hypocrite out of him. By boycotting the Israeli event, Hawking was going against statements he made in a TV commercial for British Telecom where he stressed the importance of talking.

"That Israeli event was the perfect opportunity to have Hawking go and make some kind of statement. You see, I agree with what Hawking said in that TV commercial but in reality, Hawking doesn't believe it or he would've told Chomsky, "Thanks, but no thanks". Frankly, I would have told Chomsky to go to hell. Well, actually I did as much in my email to him."

Marshall's book will be available online by Wednesday at Blurb.com which also hosts his previous release, Paradox Lost: The True Geometries of Time Travel, while today and this weekend, he will be appearing at the MarCon science fiction convention in downtown Columbus, OH. He'll be giving a variety of talks and participating in panels and doing a prelaunch event for his book this evening. He's expected to reveal his plans for beating NASA this year in proving that he has the first applicable technology for warp drive while NASA attempts to ramp up their efforts, which are woefully behind his.
