Cub Snacks is reducing parents stress and improving kids health

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. - May 5, 2015 - PRLog -- Cub Snacks has introduced their monthly healthy snack box for kids, available for parents across the USA to purchase. Cub Snacks sends subscribers a box containing 30 healthy and portioned kids snacks, reducing parents stress at the grocery store and eliminating confusion from illegible ingredient labels.

Parents of kids aged 3-10 will have healthy snacks available on demand every day of the month. Customers order online and delivery is free, arriving before the start of each month.

The box contains a healthy and tasty selection of products that are all highly nutritious. Contents will include natural Fruit drinks, Fruit and nut bars, healthy freeze dried fruit and vegetable Chips and Trail mixes which are all approved by kids prior to inclusion.

The average child now gets 586 calories from Snacks (trends in snacking among US children, health affairs study, March 2010), this increased consumption means that quality is becoming increasingly important if parents want their kids to avoid weight related health issues later in life.

Cub Snacks has also committed to the Feeding America charity program, which means that for every box we send out, Cub Snacks donates a meal to a child in need. So parents not only give their kids the gift of health, but also lend a helping hand to support less privileged kids.

“Health is a habit, and it’s one that’s formed from an early age so we surveyed over 125 parents to find out where they were having difficulties making good snack choices. The response was nearly universal, over 90% of their kids snacked daily but most parents found it a stressful and confusing experience to source healthy products when at the grocery store.” says Andy Kavanagh, CEO of Cub Snacks.

“The grocery aisles don’t have a clear set of health or advertising guidelines and often overworked parents are often left to themselves to decipher nutritional panels, so we created Cub Snacks to cut out that uncertainty and create a convenient alternative you can trust”

“We start our selection process by removing any products with Refined Sugars/oils, Artificial preservatives/colorings, Trans fats, Shellfish and Gluten, compiling over 250 snacks so far. The contents of each box change each month so kids won’t get bored of the same snacks” he added.
