Follow on Google News | The Triangle Golf Challenge Tees Off Twelfth YearThe Triangle Golf Challenge will be contested on June 12 2015 at the Lonnie Poole Golf Course at NC State University.
By: The Banks Foundation The event will begin 8:30 am with a shot-gun start. Guests of the event will have the chance to mix and mingle with celebrity hosts Chris Corchiani, Walter Davis and Levelle Moton. The Lonnie Poole Golf Course was designed by Arnold Palmer and the design team at Arnold Palmer Design Company, and includes stunning views of downtown Raleigh. The course is very playable for all skill levels and a large challenge to low handicap players. Proceeds from the event will benefit The Banks Foundation and Communities In Schools of Durham. “We are looking forward to another successful event that will assist more families in home ownership, and surround our youth with a community support,” said Sherrod Banks, President of The Banks Foundation. “The generosity of the players, sponsors and all who donate this year is making it possible for The Banks Foundation and Communities In Schools of Durham to really enrich the triangle area.” The Triangle Golf Challenge is currently soliciting donations, giveaways and sponsorships.
