Hill & Partners CEO Michael McMahon Joins South Shore Habitat for Humanity Board of Directors

BOSTON - May 5, 2015 - PRLog -- Weymouth, MA (May 4, 2015) – Michael McMahon, Hill & Partners CEO and Marshfield resident, recently accepted the request from the South Shore Habitat for Humanity to join its board of directors.

Michael is excited to join the fellow members of the board, and consult with staff to support their vision toward implementing ongoing strategic growth goals such as expanding production through private acquisition of properties, as well as providing in-kind resource support to deliver a new website in 2015.

“Personally, I can connect with those who aspire to provide a stable, dependable and predictable place to live for their families,” said Michael McMahon. “Habitat offers an alternative path to home ownership for families who are not quite poor, but unable to get into a situation where a portion of their housing costs would be building equity for the future.”

South Shore Habitat for Humanity was founded in Norwell in 1986 as an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International. In its first six years, with the cooperation of several South Shore towns, the organization was able to help six families make desperately needed renovations on their homes. In 1992, South Shore Habitat constructed its first single-family home in Weymouth. Since then, South Shore Habitat for Humanity have completed 53 homes in 21 towns, helping more than 94 adults and 187 children build a place to call home.

“Beyond traditional currency, people have the capacity to give in the form of passion, faith, experience, love, humility and friendship to name a few,” added McMahon. “Through Habitat for Humanity, I have experienced evidence that there is more about the affect of giving freely than I have ever known, or even thought I had known.”
