MEDFORD, Ore. - May 4, 2015 - PRLog -- Hundreds of U.S. and Canadian organizations will come together to celebrate this year's National Safe Boating Week on May 16th-22nd.  This week marks the launch of the North American Safe Boating Campaign, a yearlong campaign that promotes safe and responsible boating, with an emphasis on life jacket usage.

One of the best devices that recreational boaters can use to stay safe on the water this season is the innovative BuoyRope®, a docking device that combines the strength of nylon shock cord with the versatility of a loop-based rope and steel S-Clips called LoopClips®. The BuoyRope® can lash down large items such as coolers, inflatables, or life jackets, thus cutting down on potential floating hazards in the water. Ideal for safe mooring because of its safe-knot technology, BuoyRope® can be used as a secure docking device for chaining boats together, attaching personal watercraft, or mooring the boat at the dock. Boaters can even use the BuoyRope® as a clothesline at the end of the day to hang wet towels or life jackets.

“When you've got people you care about in the boat with you, you want the safest fastening method possible.” says Jeff Dahl, who is the owner of LoopRope LLC. “I love how secure BuoyRope® is, as well as all the ways I can use it when I'm out on the water.”

BuoyRope® was invented by Dahl in 2009 after he took a frustrating trip to the dump and found himself tying knots in a rope to secure a load. He came up with the idea of a flexible, loop-based rope after tinkering in his garage. Since its inception, BuoyRope® and sister product LoopRope® has been picked up by multiple retail outlets in the U.S. such as Cabela’s, Camping World, QVC, Amazon and DuLuth Trading, and in other countries, including Japan, Germany, Australia, the Philippines, South Korea, Canada and The Netherlands.  It is also sold directly through the LoopRope website (www.looprope.com).
