Cavignac & Associates Hires Arielle Chalfant as Account Manager in Employee Benefits Department

SAN DIEGO - May 4, 2015 - PRLog -- Arielle Chalfant has been hired by Cavignac & Associates as account manager within the agency’s Employee Benefits department, announced Jeffrey W. Cavignac, CPCU, ARM, RPLU, president and principal of the San Diego-based risk management and commercial insurance brokerage firm.

         Under the direction of Patrick Casinelli, a principal of Cavignac & Associates who heads the company’s Employee Benefits department, Chalfant will serve as the primary point of contact for the agency’s clients and fulfill their service needs.  She is also charged with ensuring client retention, providing sales support, and corresponding with carriers.

         For the past 11 years, Chalfant was employed by The Strathmore Group in San Diego, where she last held the position of senior account executive. There, she established and serviced key accounts, resolved a range of healthcare issues for a diverse client base, managed sales cycles, supervised staff, and designed and generated employee communication campaigns.

         Chalfant graduated summa cum laude from San Diego State University with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology and with “distinction” from the university’s Psychology Department.  She has been trained in health outcomes research and, in 2014, was the recipient of the Regional Award from the Western Psychological Association.

         Chalfant holds a Life & Health license, as well as a Property & Casualty license, from the California Department of Insurance.

         Born and raised in Tustin, Calif., in Orange County, Chalfant currently resides in Rancho Peñasquitos with her husband, Brett, and their one-year-old daughter.  She has a diverse range of outside interests that include travel, hiking and beach adventures with her family; tackling home improvement projects; photography, music and independent film; and expanding her knowledge about anything related to science, the mind and body, and particularly health psychology and organizational psychology.
