STW will be exhibiting at booth 11119 at the Offshore Technology Conference, OTC 2015 to showcase innovative telematics, controllers, I/O modules and other solutions

STW was recently awarded the prestigious Bayern’s Best 50 award along with 6 safety approvals for 32 bit mobile control units in accordance with the machine safety standards EN 61506, SIL2, EN62061 SIL C2 and EN ISO 13849 PLd within just 6 months.

In addition, STW’s off highway rated workhorse CAN bus controllers 3XL and 3XM are certified by the primary classification agency ATEX (ZONE 2) for hazardous environments typically found in the oil/gas, mining.

This allows these controllers to be located in Zone 2 areas without expensive protective EX panels/enclosures.  This also makes it easier for OEMs to meet their certification goals for the entire machine.
