Trending LIVE! Fashion Event to Strut through Southlake Town Square May 9

SOUTHLAKE, Texas - May 1, 2015 - PRLog -- If you want to know what's trending now, here's a date to put on your calendar - May 9, when the top brands from Southlake Town Square (http://www.SouthlakeTownSquare.com) will host an interactive fashion event that will leave you begging for more than 140 characters. Trending LIVE! hosted by Southlake Town Square, will strut through Southlake on Saturday, May 9 and will feature an exciting runway show, community giving and special celebrity guests.  Its #free, it's #fun and it's more #fashion than you can shake a #hashtag at.

“Our retailers are taking the trends you see online and giving shoppers an opportunity to see them up close and in person," said Liz Barth, marketing director at Southlake Town Square. “Trending LIVE! allows everyone to sit in the front row like the fashion bloggers, find their new favorite looks and share them with their friends and family instantly by using the hashtag #TrendingLive!.”

Trending LIVE! is free to attendees, and complimentary parking is available at Southlake Town Square.  The first 200 attendees will receive a swag bag.  Guests can enjoy light refreshments and in-store promotions starting at 4 p.m. A runway show will begin at 6 p.m. in Rustin Park (in front of Town Hall) and will feature fun fashion trends from select Southlake Town Square stores, making it easy to nab a favorite look immediately! The Trending LIVE! runway show, produced by RSC Show, will also feature interactive style education and fabulous giveaways with special guest emcee, Amy Vanderoef.

This fashion extravaganza also features the most stylish element of all: a charitable one. Guests of Trending LIVE! are encouraged to bring gently used dress shoes and handbags to donate to Dress for Success Dallas (http://www.dressforsuccess-dallas.org), the non-profit organization that promotes the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and career development tools. To date, Dress for Success Dallas has helped more than 8,000 women work towards self-sufficiency. A silent auction benefiting Dress for Success Dallas will also be located at various retailers throughout Southlake Town Square from 5 to 8 p.m., providing shoppers the opportunity to bid on exciting prizes while supporting a great cause.
