Singer Serafia releases new house music single 'Touching My Soul'

May 1, 2015 - PRLog -- The singer and performer of house music and EDM known as Serafia has released her latest dance-floor sensation, “Touching My Soul.” The track has been released concurrently in two versions, a “Vocal House Mix” and an extended remix. Both have been proudly published on the Tarbo Records independent music label. A house-music track thumping and pounding with back beat and bass, elegantly decorated with the crystalline vocals of Serafia, herself, “Touching My Soul” is just the thing professional DJs and fans of electronica have been waiting for.

The style of Serafia (pronounced 'sir-RAW-fee-yah') has been called a seamless blend of soul, jazz, rhythm and blues, pop, alternative and electronica, the upshoot of which is a unique sound entirely her own.

She has appeared live onstage with such legends as CeCe Peniston and Taylor Dayne. A tireless worker in the sound studio, Serafia writes tracks for top-40 placements and has received multiple accolades from mainstream record label representatives. Her singing and writing performances on the theme song for the Style Network's “Empire Girls” program saw her being aired in the United States and South Africa for a full season.

Serafia was dubbed Austin Deli Magazine's Artist of the Month and was nominated 'Best Female Artist' by the Austin Hip-Hop Awards.
