EPIC Hearing Healthcare CEO Brad Volkmer Awarded 6th Annual Most Influential In Specialty Health

The award, voted upon by purchasers of specialty health (health plans, insurance brokers, third party administrators, etc.), recognizes leaders in specialty health who have played a major role in raising the profile of and easing access to high-quality specialty health services. NASHO Board Chairman Andrew Alcorn presented the award yesterday evening in Las Vegas, Nevada at the 2015 Specialty Health Summit Chairpersons’ Dinner, co-hosted by NASHO and the National Association of Vision Care Plans (NAVCP).

Volkmer’s passion and commitment have combined to serve not only as the driving force behind the development of EPIC’s Hearing Service Plans, but also to position hearing care and benefits as an established, sought-after specialty health discipline. His thirty years in healthcare administration include tenure as Executive Vice President of Finance and Operations at the prestigious House Ear Institute and Clinic (Los Angeles, CA) as well as Chief Administrative Officer for the UCLA Department of Internal Medicine.
