About the author:

Betty Jean Ricks was raised in a small suburban town in the south of Chicago, Illinois. As the first girl born in a family of nine children, she experienced many challenges. But her strength, she says, “came from those changes and dealing with all of those personalities.” Writing quickly became her outlet. She began writing poems and short stories, but God had a different plan. After reading and meditating on the Word of God, she was inspired to write words that would encourage people to have a life of joy and peace in Christ. Prayer is Our Life Line is her first book.
