Whitehall Capital Group to donate $HK350,000 to Nepal earthquake relief

CENTRAL DISTRICT, Hong Kong - April 30, 2015 - PRLog -- Whitehall Capital Group today announced it will donate $HK350,000 (US$45,000) to the Red Cross in Nepal to support recovery efforts following the devastating earthquake which ravaged Kathmandu last Saturday.

Whitehall Capital Group’s Chairman, Mr. Michael Harrington commented on the donation saying “The images emerging from Kathmandu have shocked the world and the sheer scale of the devastation will have a lasting impact on the region. Tragically, it appears the earthquake has claimed thousands of lives with authorities now advising to expect the worst as more bodies are being found.”

Whitehall Capital Group’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Sebastian Chen added “Our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with the people of Nepal and we hope this donation will go some way in helping with the recovery and rebuilding efforts,” said Chen.

In addition, Whitehall Capital Group have organised a series of fundraising activities in Hong Kong to support the communities in the provinces surrounding Kathmandu.
