By: ND Enterprises

BALTIMORE - April 30, 2015 - PRLog -- Event Planner & Artist Manager, Chanell Douglas is fed up with everyone coming down on Baltimore Mayor, Stephanie C. Rawlings-Blake - because as Douglas puts it… “she called thugs THUGS.”

Douglas first post the question on Social Media: "When did the word thug become a racial word? For the longest, I thought the Italians coined the word dating back at least to the days of Al Capone! Thugs are criminals! Really people!”

Minutes later, she also posted this statement with a picture of Al Capone - “One of America's first thugs! A thug is defined by criminal activity not by the color of a person's skin. We take everything and attach it to racism. Only a THUG will tare up a city! You don't get no thuggish than Al Capone! …and he ain't black! Someone said they're not thugs they're criminals. That’s like saying ketchup’s not red it's scarlet! REALLY!”

Ms. Douglas is a Katrina survivor from New Orleans now resigning in Houston TX. She is an Artist Manager and Owner of ND Enterprises.
