Stay Alfred Donates to Help Babies on Guests' Behalf

SPOKANE, Wash. - April 30, 2015 - PRLog -- The Spokane, Wash., hospitality firm, Stay Alfred Vacation Rentals, incentivizes its guests to provide valuable customer feedback by making donations to the Spokane charity, We Help Babies, on their behalf.

Like many companies, Stay Alfred--which manages urban vacation rental properties in ten cities nationwide--sends a survey to each guest a few days after they check out. But they wanted to get as much honest and useful information as possible.

"We wanted to increase the volume of feedback, without skewing the data," said Skyler Reep, marketing director. "Paying someone for an opinion is a great way to change that opinion." So Stay Alfred opted to donate money on behalf of the guest, in exchange for a completed survey.

"Our survey completion rate has more than doubled, since the implementation of the donation program," said Reep. "And the money goes to a great cause."

Stay Alfred's charity of choice is We Help Babies, a Spokane organization that provides diapers, wipes, formula and other supplies to babies in need in our community. So far in 2015, Stay Alfred has donated $4,080 to the cause.

The improved survey performance has helped Stay Alfred take action to improve guest satisfaction much more quickly than most companies can. "When most of your customers give you their honest feedback," said Reep, "priorities emerge quickly. Our guest satisfaction data lets us stay nimble in a very competitive sector."

And the results? Stay Alfred boasts 98% positive reviews on sites like TripAdvisor and VRBO, so it must be working.
