Business Professionals of America to Hold Inaugural Day of Service Event
 
ANAHEIM, Calif. - May 4, 2015 - PRLog -- On Thursday, May 7, 2015, Business Professionals of America students and educators from across the country will embrace the importance of community service by dedicating one day during their National Leadership Conference toward community service. Various community service activities have been scheduled throughout the day in an effort to inspire today's students and tomorrow's business leaders on the importance of making a difference and giving back. Each Day of Service activity scheduled offers students an opportunity to make an impact at both the local and national levels while encouraging interaction with civic organizations, local area business leaders and others.

When: Thursday, May 7, 2015 from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

Why: Youth Philanthropy continues to grow across our country and Business Professionals of America is excited and inspired by this. It is a known fact that community service activities not only offer students an opportunity to give back to the community, but they also help increase self-confidence, and allow them a better understanding of the importance of service making them better stewards and citizens as they grow into adulthood.

         ·      American Red Cross of Orange County
         ·      Girls Inc. of Orange County

         ·      Pocket Flags for the Military
         ·      Random Acts of Kindness
         ·      Southern California Special Olympics Regional Games
         ·      Working Wardrobes
         ·      World Food Programme (Freerice.com)
