LECANTO, Fla. - April 29, 2015 - PRLog -- During the past 11 years Marion and Yvonne Williams have been on the forefront in the anti-human trafficking movement. As co-founders of Trafficking In America Task Force they have been an integral part of bringing education and awareness to the United States about what they believe to be America’s most critical social issue. TIATF implemented numerous programs that aim to mobilize people across the country.

“The more we learned the more we realized that human trafficking is only the fruit on a tree of crimes that grow as a result of roots deeply embedded in American culture. In order to truly work to eradicate it we must work to prevent it”, states Yvonne Williams, President. “Since our inception as TIATF we knew that if we were ever to end human trafficking we must do it by changing the way we think as a culture. TIATF set out on that path but quickly became entrenched in education and awareness of the issues that surround sex trafficking and were subject to the demands for the ever increasing appetite of the nation at large to engage in the supply, distribution, and demand of what we believe to be America’s most critical social issue.”

We envision a world without slavery of any kind, where human dignity has been restored and equality in all aspects of our walk on this earth are evident. Network for Cultural Change (NCC) is the tool that will enable anyone that wants to engage in this historical transformation and to work directly in the area of prevention an opportunity to begin. When we affect our cultural deficiencies for the better, we will see a drop in not only human trafficking but other crimes against humanity.

NCC aims to join forces with like minded individuals to create a cultural climate of economic and social equality, a cultural that supports peace, and a government that supports sustainable policies for civil community. We will work to educate and mobilize people to engage in areas that they are inspired to work in for the purpose of creating real sustainable change to enhance the life of people where they live. NCC will aim to create a network of organizations that are currently working on the ground in the various areas that we have chosen to focus on at this time. The list of action areas includes: Animal Welfare, Climate Change, Corporate America, Faith, Family Breakdown, Health and Wellness, Human Rights, Human Trafficking, Mass Media, Politics and Foreign Policy, Poverty, Service and Activism, Violence and Crime.

Once NCC builds the network we will coordinate a national conference to bring together those within the network and those who wish to become a part in order to mobilize a grass roots effort to create real cultural change on a large scale, city by city, county by county, state by state. Our goal is to begin growing with chapters in 2016.
