Icons Coffee Couture hits the sweet spot, without the sugar!

The coffee shop provides a perfect blend of style and nutrition for the health conscious and fashion loving residents of the city. To kick start the new month and welcome summer, ICONS launches a fresh menu with a variety of sweet and savory items made without refined sugars, artificial sweeteners and all these nasty added chemicals you anyway never asked for!

The novel recipes are crafted by Lara Allegra Lange, the German Executive Chef of Icons. She has created the new menu with keeping in mind the vision of the chain – which is to enhance the life style of our society and make a healthy, but joyful change in the fast food industry. The menu accommodates a dish for every taste bud; it includes a lot more meal items such as a hearty wraps, seasonal salads and great range of desserts to pick from. Lara comments on the desserts, “Each recipe offers something new and unique such as the recently created unique –  Chia Chocolate Power Muffin  recipe, where I’ve used no butter, no flour, no refined sugar, but instead added the goodness of oats, chia seeds, apple mouse combined with a hint of Stevia, a  natural plant extract and sweetener.  The items on the menu are placed after great feedback. We don’t stop there, they are continuously improved and we keep finding new ways to make our food healthier and joyful at the same time.” said Lara.

Chia Chocolate Power Muffin

Ingredients – Oats, milk Chocolate, Chia Seeds, Cocoa Powder, Yogurt and homemade Apple Cinnamon Sauce drizzled with milk chocolate

This scrumptious and sticky, but unbelievable healthy chocolate Muffin is too good to be true. Loaded with the power of Oats and Chia Seeds and without any flour and butter, this muffin is a wonderful source of protein and chocolate to indulge. Order it hot to enjoy a melted Chocolate heart.

The menu accommodates a dish for every taste bud, from naturally sweetened low calorie desserts to fresh salads to satisfying wraps. The savory items provide balanced, but quick breakfast and lunch options with their Pesto, Tomato and Mozzarella Panini or Chicken Fajita Wrap paired best with fresh Chicken & Caesar Salad.

Smoked Salmon Sandwich

Ingredients- Dark Whole Bread, Smoked Salmon, Cream Cheese, Roquette leaves.

Chicken Fajita Wrap

Ingredients –Chicken Breast, Cajun seasoning, tortillas

The wraps filled with juicy spicy chicken, grilled in Mexican seasoning.

Chicken & Caesar Salad

Ingredients – Grilled chicken breast, fresh lettuce with the dressing on the side

The salad is the perfect side for the sandwiches and wraps offered at ICONS Coffee Couture.

The founder of ICONS Coffee Couture, Elena Weber, who practices organic and green living in her daily routine, has worked together with the chef on the menu. As a former model she knows the struggle between eating healthy but at the same time wanting something indulgent! She is a fan of the sugar-free German Apple Crumple. She says, “I love the combination of fresh apples and cinnamon, you won’t believe there is no sugar in it! Due to my profession and life as a model, I always have to follow a strict diet, but with ICONS and Lara creating healthy desserts I can enjoy a good slice of cake without any regrets!”
