The Investigator is joining forces with Coventry University – which is fast becoming a centre of excellence for ethical hacking expertise – to bring you this one day conference that will showcase all the latest trends, threats around cyber hacking.

It is specifically aimed at investigators and will provide practical advice on how to investigate cyber hacking offences and how to maximise the evidential potential of a case.

Cyber hacking is fast becoming a serious crime threat and is something that is posing a real challenge for police and other law enforcers.

It is particularly challenging due to the fast changing nature of cyber hacking and so it is essential that investigators have all the tips and techniques to help stay one step ahead of the criminals.

The event will be led by Bob Bird, a former Superintendent, SIO and murder investigator for 30 years with West Midlands Police, who is now a senior staff member teaching the digital forensics and ethical hacking courses at the university. He will be joined by university staff and other expert speakers from academia, industry and law enforcement.
