Friday 13th April  2012 sees the launch of Damelin’s first ever fresher’s ball, Sliq Marketing and media entertainment brand Red Infinity have teamed up put together this epic event, Its been named ground breaking by students from neighbouring varsities and events.

Johannesburg based Company - Sliq Marketing will be hosting the countries 1st ever Damelin fresher’s taking place at Baseline night club in Newtown Johannesburg on 13 April 2012 and featuring performances by two time SAMA nominated artist AKA, Dj Kent, Truey Donatello and other special guests including Dineo Renaka as MC for the star studded event.

Sliq Marketing teamed up with acclaimed events and media company Red Infinity to pull off this year’s biggest show down. With extensive marketing around all campuses around the Gauteng region this build up is set to be the bench mark for all Damelin’s future dated events.

The events Marketing Manager Anthony Boateng had this to say – “this should be our biggest gig to date, I’ve hosted numerous events around the country, this is by far my biggest.

Yfm dj’s Warras and Yanga are ecstatic about the event and with the countdown to the show ahead, the 2 radio disc jockeys have pledged their own popularity poll and are campaign a compilation of music never heard on air or non like any other they say. Excitement levels are raised as the four main campuses push ticket sales in the run to end of the week on a high note.

5fm’s acclaimed Dj Kent had this to say: “its amazing to see what effort in the right direction can accumulate to, I’ve had bookings back to back and this will be a good start to my other appearances due to happen within the course of year”.
Red Infinity Staff and Management ensure the event will be a success and with all the added support from investors and sponsors will further insure a good turn out.

The event will be held in Johannesburg upmarket and popular night club Baseline, the centre arena for the display culture and arts near the Market theatre. This venue of choice serves to be a spectacle of note in the performing arts. The date is set for Friday 13th of April.
