Luis Vicente Garcia to Key-note at the HCC's Teen Entrepreneur Summit

Luis Vicente Garcia is an international entrepreneur with a local mindset and vision.  Understanding his expertise in global entrepreneurship can help shape the future, he is offering his time to budding business leaders participating in the Teen Entrepreneurship Summit.

Luis Vicente, a Certified Brian Tracy Business Coach, Best-Selling^® Author and International Speaker, will be the keynote speaker at the at Houston Community College’s TEC Summit this Saturday, May 2^nd.

The Summit is an extension of the Teen Entrepreneurship College program, and students involved are applying for a full-year scholarship at HCC. The event was organized with the goal of helping teens see entrepreneurship as a viable career option.

Having led and operated businesses in the United States, Venezuela and other countries in The Americas, no one is more capable of achieving that goal than Mr. Garcia, who will be speaking to the 500 students enrolled in the program. His goal is to provide them with time-tested tips and strategies to help them understand what it takes to be a true entrepreneurial leader in the 21^st Century.

“These students will not only impact our futures and quality of life; they will directly shape and mold the lives we will lead,” says Luis. “It is in my direct interest to give them the tools they need to mold it well.”

He also wants to stress to these students the importance of creating the types of new products, services and technologies that all economies need to grow.

“A lot of people think that technological advancements make it easier to be an entrepreneur or business leader in today’s society,” says Luis. “But that couldn’t be further from the truth.  To succeed as a business leader today, students need to understand the importance of creating new ideas, innovating those ideas and adapting to constant the change and demands of a global marketplace.”

Luis’s goal is to help them understand just that in his presentation at HCC’s Central Campus on Saturday morning from 9am until 2pm. It’s a tall order, for sure, but one in which his more than 29 years of experience building and managing business teams has prepared him to fulfill.
