Weymouth Elks Club to host Comedy Show; proceeds to benefit the Safe Passage program

WEYMOUTH, Mass. - April 28, 2015 - PRLog -- The Weymouth Elks Club will host a Comedy Show featuring three regionally renowned entertainers on May 16^th with proceeds to benefit the Safe Passage program (www.safepassage.org) in Guatemala.

Slated from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday, May 16^th show will be held at the Weymouth Elks Club, 1197 Washington Street in East Weymouth and will feature comedians Sean Sullivan, Shawn Carter and Gary Petersen.

Tickets are $25; funds raised during the Comedy Show will go toward construction of a new school in the Guatemala City dump to educate the poorest of that country’s population.  Safe Passage provides approximately 600 children and 100 mothers with education, social services, and the chance to move beyond the poverty their families have faced for generations.

The event is being organized by Gary Rayberg, President/CEO of ROI Corporation and Steve Certa, the retired CEO of Watch All.
