Innovative-IDM Acquires Sunbelt Power Controls

April 28, 2015 - PRLog -- Carrollton, Texas (April 28, 2015) – Innovative-IDM (www.innovativeidm.com) announced Tuesday that it has acquired Sunbelt Power Controls, a Texas-based manufacturer of electrical motor controls for sump/sewage pumps, booster pumps, motors, and fans. Sunbelt Power Controls, founded in 1986, will operate as a subsidiary separate of parent company Innovative-IDM.

“Customers of Sunbelt Power Controls will continue to benefit from the knowledge and workmanship of Sunbelt’s veteran employees,” said Gene Gray, president of Innovative-IDM. “They also will enjoy an additional synergy of resources that will add to the already strong customer service and product quality they have come to expect from Sunbelt.”

Innovative-IDM, founded in 2000, is a high-tech distributor of automation and controls products with locations in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Tennessee. IIDM also operates an industrial electronics repair facility in Houston, and has industrial field service technicians and pre- and post-sale engineering support at all locations. Terms of the acquisition of Sunbelt Power Controls were not disclosed.
