Divorce Seminar Now Available Monthly at Smyrna Community Center- Next Seminar May 9, 2015

Offered by San Diego-based Nationally Acclaimed Second Saturday Divorce Workshops and led by local, credentialed professionals in the fields of Law, Finance and Family Counseling

SMYRNA, Ga. - April 28, 2015 - PRLog -- This 3-hour seminar is designed to equip men and women who are considering divorce to navigate the issues and intricacies of the process. The next seminar will be held on May 9, 2015 at the Smyrna Community Center, 200 Village Green Circle, Smyrna, GA  30080. Registration: 8:30 AM, Seminar: 9:00 AM - Noon.

Featured speakers this month include:

Janette Black Gilbert, LCSW, as a family counselor with over 20 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. Her specialties include minimizing the negative impact of divorce on families. Trained as a mediator, collaborative divorce coach and child specialist, Janette assists couples to effectively communicate throughout the divorce process. She specializes in assisting in the creation of parenting plans that are in the best interest of the children. She has assisted in training and served on the Board of The Collaborative Law Institute of GA.

Steve (Stephen M.) Worrall is a family law attorney working with adoption, prenuptial agreements and collaborative divorce. He understands the emotional stress of divorce and has designed his practice to guide his clients through the divorce process as efficiently and painlessly as possible. He is also deeply experienced in providing estate planning guidance; including wills, trusts, probate, special needs planning and guardianship.

Paul Fair, Ph.D.


 is a Licensed Psychologist, Registered Mediator, and Divorce Coach. As art of an interdisciplinary team, he helps couples manage disruptive negative feelings and improve communications during the marriage dissolution process. He helps parents focus on creating child-centered parenting plans that minimize conflict and promote healthy post divorce co-parenting. He is a member of the Association of Professional Family Mediators, the Georgia Psychological Association, the International Academy of Collaborative Practitioners, the Collaborative Law Institute of GA and a founding member of Divorce Innovations, Inc.
