Sciformix Furthers Global Expansion with Newly Strengthened Management Team

April 28, 2015 - PRLog -- 28 April 2015, Boston, MA – Sciformix Corporation, a leading Scientific Process Organization (SPO), is pleased to announce the appointments of Warun Nayar as Chief Operations Officer (COO) and Abhay Joshi as Chief Finance Officer (CFO). These two new appointments, along with the announcement of David Balderson as Vice President Global Safety Operations in January reinforce Sciformix’s global business expansion and how they continue to invest to support their client’s needs and future growth.

As COO Warun Nayar will spearhead Sciformix’s delivery, practice management, HR, IT and administration functions. Warun brings a formidable body of experience and a proven ability to incentivize, synchronize and stabilize business operations. After a long tenure in the Army, his first corporate job was with Cambridge Technology Partners, where he went on to head the European operations. He spent 14 years at GE Capital International Services (GECIS) which was later rebranded as Genpact and held leadership positions vital in augmenting the growth story of the company. These included CIO for Genpact Europe, Operations Leader for Hungary and Kolkata sites, and then Business Leader for the Manufacturing, Telecom, Chemicals, Logistics, Media and Utilities verticals.
His most recent role was Hitachi Operations Lead at Genpact Japan Business Services.

Abhay joins the Sciformix family as the CFO with over 25 years of experience in finance and accounts functions in technology, manufacturing and distribution sector companies worldwide. His areas of expertise include tax and legal compliance, cost management, budgeting and financial planning and MIS. He also has extensive experience in start-ups and managing their growth. Prior to joining Sciformix, Abhay was the finance head of the Enterprise Solutions business group at Tata Consultancy Services. During the course of his career he has worked with leading companies like Johnson & Johnson, IBM distributor company, Cummins and Symantec.

David Balderson, as Global VP of Safety Operations, has made great strides to further strengthen Sciformix’s delivery of global safety and pharmacovigilance (PV) solutions. David brings extensive knowledge and experience that will help enhance the company’s operational excellence, and global PV capabilities. Prior to joining Sciformix, David held senior leadership roles at Amgen US, first as Head of Global Safety Operations and then as Head of Global Regulatory Operations, and in Pharmacovigilance at GSK in the UK prior to that.
