PHILADELPHIA - April 27, 2015 - PRLog -- PePcon: the Print + ePublishing Conference, an international gathering dedicated to providing graphic designers and publishing professionals an innovative learning experience, will take place at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown in Philadelphia, PA, from June 1−4, 2015. The annual event, hosted by Creative Publishing Network and now in its sixth year, will host more than 20 distinguished panelists and speakers, including business leaders, authors, top publishing experts from around the world, and members of the Adobe team.

“We are very excited about this year’s show and the enthusiastic response from both speakers and attendees,” said David Blatner, award-winning author and PePcon co-founder. “Publishing is always changing, so we have the chance every year to learn about the latest technology, and also look ahead to what’s coming and what designers and publishers will need to learn.”

“Our speakers and sponsors are on the cutting edge of the digital publishing revolution,” adds Anne-Marie Concepción, publishing guru and co-founder of PePcon. “And our attendees are hungry to learn best practices for both print and digital. PePcon is that rare experience where these two groups not just network, but connect and collaborate.”

This two-day multi-track conference is preceded by a half-day of pre-conference tutorials and followed by a full day of post-conference tutorials. This year’s day two Creative Keynote speaker is Mark Heaps, the Director of Development for Duarte, Inc., a world-class communication agency that specializes in presentation design. Heaps’ previous experience includes senior positions at both Apple and Google.

PePcon session topics include:

Using HTML in your EPUBs and tablet applications for interactive effects

Best practices for converting publications from print to mobile

Advice and techniques for managing projects in InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator

Taking advantage of print’s unique advantages over digital

How creatives and publishers use video to engage their readers

and more…

The last five years of PePcon have sold out, so professionals are encouraged to register early. For more information and to register for the conference visit www.PePcon.com.
