Neutopia Launches Canada's first Smart Building Royalty Program that Takes Advantage of Smart Meters

Last week Neutopia ecoSOLUTIONS Inc. (www.neutopia.ca, Est. 2008) launched a test pilot marketing campaign to attract host sites interested in being paid monthly royalty cheques to have a new smart building technology installed on their property that takes advantage of the information being collected by smart meters.

The technology becomes the new 'first step' for property owners to install before changing light bulbs or HVAC equipment, and it does not compete with any other energy saving devices.  It simply installs at the point where electricity leaves the grid and where property owners become responsible, and it can be combined with any other energy savings equipment or technologies (of which Neutopia boasts the world's largest network of solutions for energy, waste and water).

The patented system integrates multiple information relays that enable it to 'communicate with the electricity coming into the building from the grid', and automatically reduces the amount a property will be charged for on their energy bills 'by recycling the electrons that a property may demand but which is not able to use efficiently'.
