Walking Dead fan? Join us at the red carpet premiere of 'The Walkers Among Us', Saturday 4/25/2015

CHICAGO - April 24, 2015 - PRLog -- "The Walkers Among Us," details the fan base community that has formed around AMC's hit television series "The Walking Dead." The documentary was directed by Cris Macht who previously directed two documentaries about "Star Wars" fans: "The Force Among Us" and "The Force Within Us."

"The Walkers Among Us" will have its official red carpet premiere at noon on Saturday, April 25, at the Hollywood Blvd. Theatre, 1001 W. 75th St., Woodridge.

Red carpet guests include the film makers Cris Macht and Ian Vacek  the author of 'The Walking Dead' novel, and Jay Bonansinga who will be in the lobby signing books and meeting fans.

Live Zombies from Nightmare of Chicago Street will be roaming the red carpet and guests can transform into the undead thanks to makeup artists. "The Walking Dead" regular zombie extra Michelle Helmeczy will be present (and alive) for autographs and photo ops.

Admission costs $2. Proceeds will go to the Walking Hope, a charity supporting the American Cancer Society. (A one-item minimum purchase of food or drink is required).
