Land Rover Hilton Head Sponsers Lawyers, Guns, and Money Event

HARDEEVILLE, S.C. - April 23, 2015 - PRLog -- Land Rover Hilton Head is proud to announce their sponsorship of the third annual Lawyers, Guns, and Money Sporting Clays Tournament on Friday, May 8 at the Forest City Gun Club. The Savannah Boar Association puts this event together every year to raise awareness and funding for the American Diabetes Association’s Kiss-A-Pig campaign.

Land Rover Hilton Head is proud to be the presenting sponsor for the event, which brings in hundreds of visitors for a marksmanship competition, followed by a large after party. At the after party, guests will be able to partake in a raffle for a flats boat, silent auction, and barbeque. There will be wine and beer available and live music from The Trainwrecks and Connellis.

Interested 4-man teams can join the sporting clays tournament on Friday, May 8 with an entry fee of $600. For those interested in the after party, tickets are $25. Sponsorships are also available. All of this money supports the American Diabetes Association in the largest fundraising event in Southeast Georgia and Coastal Carolina. In past years, the event has raised over $75,000 and the after party attracted 400-500 people last year.

The flats boat being raffled is a 2015 Rip Tide with 20 horsepower Tohatsu motor and comes with a Loadrite trailer, which will be perfect for fishing the waters of southeast Georgia and coastal Carolina. The winner of the raffle prize will be announced at the conclusion of the silent auction. As always, the America Boar Association hopes to make this event so successful that they win the Kiss-A-Pig contest, a regional campaign southeast Georgia that rewards the winning team with a chance to kiss a pig, recognized by the ADA as the original source of life-saving insulin.

Land Rover Hilton Head is proud to lend a helping hand to this annual event, which represents the best in outdoor pursuits and charity causes. With the money raised, the America Diabetes Association is able to spread awareness about and research treatments for Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes.
