April 23, 2015 - PRLog -- Butterfly is proud to sponsor the 2015 America's Team Championship table tennis tournament scheduled May 23^th and 24^th at the Forest City Tennis Center located at 7801 East State St. in Rockford, Illinois.

The America's Team Championship is a 4-Star USA Table Tennis sanctioned tournament that features over $8,000 in cash prizes, awards and custom medals. The tournament director is Ed Hogshead and it is sponsored by Rockford Table Tennis Club. It is considered as a players’ team tournament with scheduled on-time rounds, the best conditions, great competition and fun for all.

Competition format is teams competing using the old  Swaythling Cup format playing best 5 out of 9 single matches. Teams consist of 3 to 5 players in five divisions.  All division winners receive $100 off the entry fee for the 2016 America’s Team Championship. Register a team today, entry deadline is May 15^th. America's Team Championship will be using Butterfly ITTF-approved professional tables (Centrefold 25 Rollaway and Europa 25 Stationary) and Butterfly 3-star 40+ plastic balls.
