LOS ANGELES, CA, April 22, 2015 - Eva Helene Yazhari, CEO and co-founder of

Beyond Capital Fund is proud to announce the foundation’s recent participation as

a delegate at the recently concluded “Sankalp Global Forum 2015” on April 9th and

10th.

This year’s was the seventh edition of the Sankalp Global Forum, taking place in

Delhi, India for the first time; its general purpose being to discuss and debate how

governments, the private sector and capital can come together and better support

social entrepreneurship.

With specific focus on social, economic and environmental problems that now face

developing countries, the forum provided a wide variety of panel discussions,

workshops and presentations for sharing creative thought concerning matters such

as education, gender inequality, pressures on the agricultural sector, urban waste,

clean drinking water and better access to healthcare.

In addition to Beyond Capital Fund, the Sankalp Forum was attended by other

stakeholders from most corners of the world including social entrepreneurs, other

investors, mainstream financial institutions, corporations, DFI’s (Development

Financial Institutions), private donors and some governments.

Beyond Capital Fund had the ability to meet with donors, social entrepreneurs,

government officials, co-investors and others that make up the social enterprise

ecosystem in India. And to discuss the key drivers to improve the pace and

effectiveness of our investments.

Significant emphasis was placed on the power of innovation and how the Internet,

mobile telephony and devices can and already are bringing the world closer

together and integrating us more across national, racial, religious and gender lines.

More than two hundred social entrepreneurs attended Sankalp Forum 2015

to showcase their businesses, network with high profile individuals and investors,

potential business partners, other innovators and prospective mentors, and explore

scaling their ideas and companies to additional countries such as Africa and Asia.

The Sankalp 2015 Awards Winners were “The Better India” (US $40,000 recipient),

“Drinkwell Systems” (US $10,000), “Swami Samarth” (US $10,000) and “Janta

Meals” (Sankalp People’s Choice Award).

Organized by Intellecap, Sankalp Global Forum 2015 was also supported by

participating and sponsoring organizations that included Intellecap, World Bank,

Grameen Capital India, ASHOKA, Shell Foundation, Asha Impact, Accion Venture

Lab, FICCI, Villgro, WISH, ARTHA, and many more.
