Cornet Technology, Inc. Hires Col. Tim Kokinda, USA (ret.) as Director of Warfighter Engagement

SPRINGFIELD, Va. - April 22, 2015 - PRLog -- Cornet Technology, Inc. announced today that Col. Tim Kokinda, USA (ret.) has joined the firm as Director of Warfighter Engagement reporting to Sunil Mehta, VP of Product Marketing.  In this role, Col. Kokinda will bring his extensive customer and communications knowledge and operational expertise to take the company to the next level of growth in the areas of the US Army, Special Forces, and White House communications.

Col. Kokinda has an impressive background.  He served over 25 years in the US Army as a Signal Corp officer retiring as a Colonel in late 2007.  He has extensive operational experience in providing C4ISR network services at the Division and Corps level in support of joint and coalition operations in Africa, Bosnia, Kosovo, Iraq, Afghanistan, and other locations. He also served as the J6 communications lead in Special Operations Command Europe supporting SOF units from SOCOM, as well as serving as a Presidential Communications Officer in the White House providing communications support to the President worldwide.

After his time in the Army, he was hired first by Lockheed Martin C4ISR Systems as a subject matter expert (SME) and 5 years later by Cubic Defense. At both companies he assisted in growing their pipeline with the Army and Special Operations.
