The invitational will begin with registration and lunch from 11am to 12:45pm, followed by a shot gun start at 1:00pm. In addition to a 4-person scramble, golfers will have the opportunity to participate in a hole-in-one contest, raffle, and auction. The evening will conclude with remarks from a soon-to-be-announced keynote speaker and an awards dinner banquet. Last year’s inaugural invitational raised over $40,000 and Think IT is eager to top that in 2015. “The 2014 Think IT Charity Golf event was a tremendous success, helping raise both money and awareness for the Genesys Works program. It’s great to see the Twin Cities technology community rally behind the students and mission of Genesys Works as we work together to develop our next generation of IT leaders…I can’t wait to see what they have in store for the 2015 event.”, says Jeff Tollefson, Executive Director at Genesys Works. Genesys Works (http://www.genesysworks.org/ “Think IT is a proud partner of Genesys Works, as we truly believe in the fantastic work they do. The support and passion for the Genesys Works program from the local IT community is overwhelming and evident from the number of corporate sponsors that are eager to support the event”, says Richard Walker, Chairman of Think IT.
