Think IT Association to Host 2nd Annual Charity Golf Invitational

MINNEAPOLIS - April 21, 2015 - PRLog -- Minneapolis, MN—Think IT Association is set to host its 2^nd Annual Charity Golf Invitational (http://www.thinkgenworksgolf.org/) at Minneapolis Golf Club on Monday, June 29, 2015. Net proceeds from the event will benefit long-time partner Genesys Works- Twin Cities (http://www.genesysworks.org/twincities/). This year’s corporate sponsors currently include companies like Deluxe Corporation, Medica, Patterson Companies, and Red Wing Shoes.

The invitational will begin with registration and lunch from 11am to 12:45pm, followed by a shot gun start at 1:00pm. In addition to a 4-person scramble, golfers will have the opportunity to participate in a hole-in-one contest, raffle, and auction.  The evening will conclude with remarks from a soon-to-be-announced keynote speaker and an awards dinner banquet. Last year’s inaugural invitational raised over $40,000 and Think IT is eager to top that in 2015.

Genesys Works (http://www.genesysworks.org/twincities/) is a non- profit organization dedicated to building bridges between economically- disadvantaged high school students, businesses seeking technologically-proficient workers and an inner-city public education system. Genesys Works-Twin Cities was launched in 2008 and is rapidly expanding to serve the needs of students and companies in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area.
