Heidrea for Heroes Announces Resources and Support for Bellingham Veterans

BELLINGHAM, Mass. - April 21, 2015 - PRLog -- Heidrea for Heroes (www.heidrea4heroes.org),  a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing resources and support to military men and women facing challenges and hurdles after transitioning back to civilian life, is reaching out to Bellingham area veterans.

Services provided by Heidrea for Heroes include housing renovations for accessibility, adaptive vehicle modifications, veteran family support, and specialized mobility equipment. Veterans in need of this type of assistance are encouraged to apply to Heidrea for Heroes. Families and friends of veterans are also encouraged to inquire or apply on behalf of a veteran. All applications are evaluated to determine the degree to which the organization can fulfill the need.  The organization is currently assisting a veteran in restoring his home to a livable condition following flooding from burst pipes.  Other recent projects include wheelchair ramp installation and widened doorways for a recent amputee, and leaking roof repairs for another local veteran. Heidrea for Heroes was founded by Marine Corps veterans and small business owners/partners Jesse Brown and Mathew Mastroianni, who are partners also in a telecommunications firm.
