Candidates are then reviewed by a “blue ribbon panel” of their own peers. Those candidates with the highest point totals at this point in the process then proceed to the final selection process.

In the final selection process, the remaining candidates are grouped according to firm size and those with the highest point totals in each category are selected for inclusion on that year’s list for their location. Again, no more than 2% of attorneys in the nation are included on the Rising Stars list, and attorney Mahir Nisar is one of them.
