MONTREAL - April 21, 2015 - PRLog -- John Fallon’s feature length directorial debut, “The Shelter” starring iconic actor Michael Paré (“Streets of Fire”) has released its full trailer and you can watch it below!

The film, which Writer/Director Patrick Lussier (Terminator Genisys) called "an accomplished piece of filmmaking", is a supernatural thriller based on Fallon’s own screenplay and it will be screening at the Cannes Film Festival as part of the market on May 16 at 4:00PM in the Gray 3 Theatre. Fallon discusses the trailer release and the Cannes sceening: "We're very proud of the trailer which echoes the nature of the film itself: it's not spelled out for you, not even close. And in terms of the Cannes screening; after some invaluable feedback from industry peers, we recently went back and re-worked the color correction of the film and we are now 110% happy with it, hence we are ready. Synopsis: On a star filled night, widower and homeless man Thomas Jacobs (Michael Paré) finds shelter for the night when he falls upon a vast two story house with the lights on and an inviting open front door. He strolls on in thinking he just caught a lucky break and for a while, it would appear as though he did. But soon enough, he realizes that the house won’t let him leave, as its doors are all locked while its windows cannot be opened or broken. Destiny has brought Thomas to this place. What does it want from him? Will he survive the ordeal?

The film also stars, Gayle James, Rachel Whittle, Lauren Thomas and Amy Wickenheiser. It is produced by Donny Broussard and John Fallon, with Null Effects handling the VFX and Shawn Knippelberg and Colby Huval behind the film’s music.

The film was executive produced by Bruise Productions and JoBlo Movie Productions. Holbrook Multi Media completed the production and post production elements.
